Hobbies, Interests, Aspirations

An assignment to create a self portrait....seems easy enough, right? Well I sure had trouble coming up with an idea, especially when not only is this a self portrait, but also an introspective view of oneself.
For my portrait I decided to focus on my aspirations, inspirations and hobbies because I feel that these are what make me...well me. 

The movie reel represents how big of a movie buff I am, if there's a new movie...I'm watchin' it! 

The ambulance and the Caduceus shows my love for science and aspirations to be a Nurse. 

The mountains and trees represent the great outdoors! I enjoy getting out into nature, camping, hiking, swimming, and just being active! 

Finally the camera, represents my favorite hobby...photography. I've always been interested in capturing photos since before I can remember.

The idea though,  behind my photo is that while ALL of this is going on in my head, one wouldn't know it just by looking at me.
